How lovely that you’re taking part in the 2026 edition of the Tour SilverFit Mile!
From Monday June 1st to Saturday June 13th 2026, we’re going to make this a fun and active event.
You’ve signed up to take part. On this page, you’ll find all the information you need to organise the event.

Preparation
Let the fun begin! Make the area where the SilverFit Mile is taking place extra cosy and festive to really bring the Tour SilverFit Mile theme to life. To do this, print out the Activity Booklet with all the decorations. Perhaps there are clients who are unable or unwilling to cycle during the Tour SilverFit Mile? Include these clients in the fun and let them help with the event decorations. This way, they are also involved in the event and can join in the fun. Who doesn’t love a party?
Gather these items before the event begins
– Borrow sunglasses and cycling helmets for the best photos.
– A bicycle bell for extra fun whilst cycling.
– Other decorations that tie in with the chosen theme.
Additional ideas
– Create a large scoreboard to keep track of the minutes cycled so far.
– Could the catering team contribute something during the event? Perhaps a fun cake decorated with cyclists to cheer on the participants?
– End each day of the event on a festive note with a snack or a drink.
Route booklet
– This contains a selection of the most beautiful routes based on various themes.
– There is one route per day for a two-week event.
– And there are lots of fun facts about each route.
Activity booklet
The activity booklet includes:
– Music suggestions
– Decorations (ready-to-print versions and versions for getting creative with clients)
– Memory game
– Guess the picture/puzzle game
Themes
This year, we have chosen to offer four themes for the SilverFit Mile Tour. This allows you to decide for yourself which best suits your residents.
France – enjoy the French countryside and cycle through the most beautiful villages and towns.
Italy – get a taste of La Dolce Vita, just as if you were on holiday.
European Spring – discover the sunny routes through Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands
Create your own theme – with this route booklet, you can choose your own route or a Google Street View route every day.
During the event
Ensure the event has a clear start and end date and that start and end times are communicated. For this, you will find a poster to print and display at your venue.
The event usually lasts a few hours each day, depending on staff availability.
It’s a good idea to have a staff member present during the event to keep track of the minutes cycled and to help with using the SilverFit Mile, but above all to interact with participants and create a fun and festive atmosphere!
Keeping track of results
Please use the form found in the Route Booklet (last page). Tip: print this out and display it in the room. That way, participants can see how well they’re doing.
The minutes cycled per participant, per day, can be added up at the end of each week to give a fun interim score.
The minutes cycled per location, per week, must be submitted online to SilverFit to take part in the international competition and be eligible for the prizes.

Prizes
The winners will be announced during the week of 15–21 June on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and on our website. SilverFit will arrange to present the prizes in person at the winning locations.
These are the prizes to be won, per participating country*:
– First prize – the SilverFit gold cup for the location with the most cycling minutes
– Second prize – the SilverFit silver cup for the location with the next highest number of cycling minutes
– Third prize – the SilverFit bronze cup for the location with the next highest number of cycling minutes
– The oldest participant in the country will receive a medal

After the event
A personal certificate of participation can be presented to every participating client. The certificate template can be found in the event materials.
It would be nice to turn this into a small ceremony at your own location. Even more reason for a party!
*The winners of the Tour SilverFit Mile are determined based on the total number of minutes cycled, the number of participants per location, and the number of bikes used during the event. The prize for the oldest participant is determined based on the data provided by the location during the event. No rights may be derived from this message.
Social media
It is fun to share the Tour SilverFit Mile event on social media. Not only the event itself, but also the winners. By mutual agreement, SilverFit will personally present the prizes at the locations. SilverFit will create a social media post about this in consultation, tagging the location.
During the event, participants are invited to share photos and videos on social media. By participating in this event, you give SilverFit permission to share this visual material on our website www.silverfit.com, on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn), and in printed materials (such as brochures). If in doubt, please consult the communications department of the location or the foundation where you work.
