SilverFit Newton

The SilverFit Newton is a virtual therapy system for strength training. It can be fitted to any type of equipment that operates with a weight stack such as a pulley, a leg press, or a shoulder press.

Strength training is by nature repetitive which often leads to low therapy compliance. The SilverFit Newton engages people with compelling games that are professionally produced with great graphics, addictive gameplay, and a very intuitive touch screen interface. The Newton software can be installed on a small screen on the equipment, or on a mobile screen that can be moved from one training station to the next.

The Newton software contains game-based exercises, biofeedback exercises, objective outcome measures, a patient tracking database and a video analysis module.

Game based exercises

Exercises are often boring and repetitive but games engage people. The SilverFit Newton combines great-looking games with a professional interface: as a therapist, you can choose exactly the right exercise at the right level for your patient. As a participant, you will be having fun from the word go!

Biofeedback exercises

The SilverFit also provides a number of biofeedback exercises. These are tools that can be used to support existing therapy protocols. For example, the system can keep count of the number of repetitions, prescribe excentric and concentric exercise speeds, or measure recuperation times.
